Cortney’s Place, a non-profit 501(c)3, is a special place built by a community of friends who truly care about the Special Needs population in the Scottsdale Arizona and surrounding communities. As our organization has grown, so has our circle of supporters from across Arizona and beyond. Like us, they have personal stories of loved ones with disabilities and they care deeply for the well-being of these individuals.
Most people know about programs for children with Special Needs, but believe it or not, there are not many programs for individuals after high school. Cortney’s Place was started to fill this need. Disabled adults are still viable members of our community and have a lot to give. We have created a place where they can continue to learn and thrive on their own. From basic life skills to specialized therapy, the participants of our program are engaged and growing to their maximum potential.
Our center offers innovative day programs for the special needs adult community that challenge, stimulate and excite individuals as they increase their independence and personal productivity.
Since the founding of Cortney’s Place in 2007, we’ve been on an amazing journey. From building the Center at 7000 E. Shea Blvd., to hosting successful fund-raisers that help us further our mission, and growing through new strategic initiatives and organizational structuring, now is our time to “raise the bar” higher and take Cortney’s Place to the next level.
Please join our community of supporters and give back to this important cause.
