MATCHING GIFT COMMITMENT

The Jonathan and Elisa Pinkus Charitable Fund has made a matching gift commitment of up to $25,000. On Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, Cortney’s Place is planning a very special Virtual Appeal event to raise funds and awareness.  We would love to have our friends and family participate in a matching donation of $25,000, for a total gift of $50,000 to this organization that provides the necessary support for individuals with IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities).

Dear Family and Friends,

Over 3 years ago, our daughter Hailey created a project at Cortney’s Place for her Bat Mitzvah. Little did we know that three years later she would continue with this amazing organization. Hailey has grown even more passionate for her friends/students and the community at Cortney’s Place.

The goal of Cortney’s Place is to encourage and support individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD). The focus is on providing adults with IDD with experiences any other adult would have. To learn more about the services that Cortney’s Place offers click on  https://cortneysplace.org/what-we-do/. While including the specialized programs and services necessary to enhance student’s lives, Cortney’s Place wants to provide an environment of safety, inclusion, positivity, and support not only for the adults in the program, but for the families as well.

Over the past 18 months our world has seen incredible challenges and disruption with COVID-19. The Students of Cortney’s Place are no exception to this unfortunate situation.

No dollar amount is too small or too large, but we do ask that you give from the heart, as we help to make a change in someone else’s life.
